As the battle commences, the rest of the crew springs into action. They carefully approach the sinkhole excavation site, intending to disrupt the enemy and create chaos. Their mission is to cause a distraction and make their way towards their true objective.
Imogen is pulled back into a tent by an unknown person who questions her about fighting the Vanguard. Imogen tries to negotiate and mentions her friends coming for backup. The person holds her tightly and asks if they are friends or enemies. Imogen's persuasion fails and she is quietly pulled out of the tent as her friends approach.
Orm, Ladna, and Chutney enter the tent but find no sign of Imogen. Orm tries to use his sense of smell but is unable to locate her. They decide to head back outside and regroup, unaware that Imogen has been taken out of the tent by an unknown person.
The group encounters a mysterious hooded figure who seems to be on a similar path as them. They discuss their shared goals and the dangers they face in their mission to stop the release of a dangerous entity. The figure introduces themselves as Laudna and expresses a desire to confront Ludenus, a powerful and dangerous individual. Despite initial skepticism, the group decides to join forces with Laudna and form a plan to infiltrate the excavation site.
The group learns about the intricacies of the excavation site and the presence of anti-magic measures. They discuss the importance of disabling these measures to ensure success in their mission. However, they are unsure of how to do so without drawing attention to themselves. They contemplate the idea of using a captured robot as a distraction and discuss summoning reinforcements to aid them. As they prepare to descend into the site, the group ponders the best course of action and the potential risks they may face.
With the apogee solstice imminent, Bells Hells begin their infiltration of the Tishtan ruins, where they encounter new faces in the fight against the Ruby Vanguard...
