Teaching Doctors How To Be Debt Free

Jeff Anzalone is a periodontist who specializes in the treatment of the gums and bone supporting the teeth, minimally invasive tooth extractions, and in the placement of dental implants. He is a native of Northeast Louisiana and has opened up his periodontal practice in his home town of Monroe in 2006.

As a solo practitioner, Jeff was worried about not having a source of income if something should happen to him. He also owed close to $300,000 in student loans along with other debts. These concerns caused him to look into his financial future and sought other means to generate additional income. He learned to build many streams of passive income and after seven years he was debt-free. 

Jeff became passionate about sharing his debt-free journey, the strategies he learned, and basic investing principles with other doctors and high-income professionals. This resulted in the creation of his business Debt Free Doctor.  His goal is to teach everything he learned along the way to help others reach financial freedom much quicker than you’d ever thought possible.

Jeff: This advice helps me along the way when I talk to people about Real Estate or syndications and you kind of had questions like “What are you talking about, I’m not really sure” unless I can’t explain it to a fifth-grader, don’t do it. Whatever it is, if you’re not comfortable with it, you don’t know then you don’t have business to do that. If you don’t know what you’re getting in to, then don’t do it.
