Deepak Daftari entered the world of domain investing almost by accident while in Australia in 1997. After returning to India and launching one of the largest education portals in the country in 1999, he stumbled upon the potential of domain names when the Indian government made domain registration accessible to everyone in 2005. Successfully backordering notable domains, such as Internet.co and Law.co, he began to explore the domain industry further, realizing its lucrative potential.
