Kiana Elliott started her athletic journey at six years old, finding gymnastics, a sport she would compete in until eventually retiring at fourteen.
Later, she would find a gym, the sport of weightlifting, and never look back. She is a world junior medalist, qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, and is months out from fulfilling a lifelong dream of competing at the biggest stage in athletics.

In part two we will discuss her introduction to weightlifting, an attempt to qualify for the Rio Olympic Games, and the battle for Tokyo 2020.
