As the host of The Lifestyle Chase, I've been able to learn so much by meeting new people. I met Kehinde via Lucy Hendricks. Quite often I just go on this spider web of person to person and it reminds me that the world is truly not as big as we think it is.
There are so many ways that we can connect with each other and support each other. We can be that warm hug or that safety net.
Kehinde shared with me how much her grandma taught her about resiliency, and about keeping a positive in tough times, and from what I learned about her, the legacy of her Grandma is very present in how she shows up to the world.
2020 has been one of those years that has knocked people on their ass in so many different ways. It's challenged us to take a look at what we're doing and how we can do better. It's challenged us not to apply what we learned in a fancy certification to our client, but to apply what works best for that client.
