What should limited partners (LP) ask the general partners (GP) about real estate insurance? Today, our guest Brian Mitchell will provide an answer to that question. Brian spent 12 years in the commercial insurance business and travels to masterminds and real estate conferences.

Brian begins by sharing his background in real estate and the things an LP can do and asking the GP to make sure that the property is being insured to its value. His tips: determine who is handling the ins; get the Ins quote before closing; make sure they are insuring to value, know the exclusions of the insurance, and make sure values are insured properly to full replacement value.
