Somehow it’s become popular amongst some to refer to weak men as beta. When you start looking at the actual definition of beta, it’s clear to see that it does not mean weak. In the hierarchical structure, beta means second in command, the supporting role of the leader in the group, one that takes charge in place of the leader. Calling someone a “beta male” as an insult is a misinformed position, and this episode breaks down why that is the case.
