Importance of Following Healthy Habits During Tough Times
During challenging periods, maintaining healthy habits like consistent exercise and nutrition is crucial. Even when feeling low energy or stressed, sticking to routines can have a positive impact. While it's okay to adapt habits, completely abandoning them often leads to feeling worse. The volume button approach suggests adjusting habits based on current capacity, emphasizing that any step forward, no matter how small, is significant.
Taking Action Despite Not Feeling Like It
Taking action, such as working out or preparing a meal, even when not motivated, can be beneficial in the long run. Avoiding internal negotiation and committing upfront to tasks help in overcoming inertia. Although instant gratification may not result from immediate action, trust in the process and believe that consistent effort will lead to feeling better eventually.

Often, the very first thing we give up when we dont feel well, or we are too busy, is our healthy habits. Why is that? And how do you continue to take action and stay consistent with your healthy habits when you dont feel your best, or when life is throwing you curve balls?
