Charlie is an award-winning broadcaster, journalist, writer, campaigner, documentarian and international speaker.

Charlie is an ambassador for Women’s Aid, Malaria No More and an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood. She does extensive advocacy work and sits on the Ministry of Justice’s victims advisory panel. 

She has covered global events for major networks including the BBC and Sky, and her powerful documentary, ‘Nowhere to Run: Abused by Our Coach’, broadcast on the BBC, led to a change in UK law and international policy.
