Katie and Liz chat with filmmaker, essayist and TV writer for the popular show, Workin’ Moms, Karen Kicak! Karen shares the identity shift she experienced going from feeling ambivalent to motherhood to now being a mom to a toddler. She spilled on what it was like to be in the writer’s room as a new mom on a show about working moms. We talked about the “just wait” conversations that often consume how we talk about parenthood and her desire to shift to softness and positivity in motherhood.
