Truck Tuchers Endurance Contest
The Truck Tuchers Endurance Contest is taking place at the Night Vale car lot. Contestants must touch a truck continuously and the last person standing wins the used 2000 Buick Anticipator. After 73 hours, only four participants remain. The truck starts shaking violently, and Dr. Blake Jones is thrown off, leaving Latrice Beaumont, Amber King, and Steve Carlsberg in the competition. Eventually, Steve removes his hand unintentionally, making Latrice the winner.
Sentient Cacti and Cursed Headstones
Following a lightning storm, sentient cacti have unionized and are demanding legs. The Night Vale Board of Labor offers to improve their working conditions. On another note, unauthorized headstones with still-living residents' birth and death dates have appeared at Rattlesnake Rest Cemetery. Annette Jacoby of Prince of Sorrow Funeral Home warns it's important to purchase grave plots before assuming ownership of the pre-marked headstones.
