In this episode, I’m back with emotional intelligence expert, Scott Allender, to walk through the seven key areas of life and what drives him. As you can expect, much of his drive, values, and habits come back to his quest for emotional intelligence. Spiritually he discusses his tendency to want to control the circumstances of life and his self-deception around the idea that without him things won't get done or get done right. Relationally he really wants deep connection and struggles greatly if he doesn't feel he has them. Regarding money he gets into three types of survival relating to enneagram types; self preservation, social instinct, and sexual, and how we must create balance within your natural instincts.
