Matt Ode (@matty_ode) is a personal trainer, public speaker, health advocate, and cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with stage 3C testicular cancer at the age of 24. After chemotherapy, surgery, and the myriad of complications that followed, Matt’s goal now is to share what he’s learned, to help individuals transform their mind, body, and spirit.
The complications from Matt’s recovery left him at 110lbs coming from 185lbs, and unable to walk. He had to rebuild himself physically, mentally and spiritually. If you go through something like that… you’re gonna learn a thing or two.
This podcast was all about Matt’s journey and the lessons he’s learned. These lessons can be applied to fitness directly, as an extension, the rest of life - it’s all the same.
After an inspiring conversation, Matt leaves us with a final message of H.O.P.E - Help One Person Every Day. In any way you can. Sharing this podcast might be a great place to start.
