Stuck Not Broken the Stimulus Response Behavior Model is Missing Something: a Polyvagal Solution?
The traditional model of behavior as a result of a stimulus is missing a middle component. There is some algorithm that takes place in between the stimulus and the response. The Polyvagal Theory may provide some insight.
