Ekuwah Moses is an Elementary Engineering teacher in Las Vegas, NV. She uses a variety of techniques to help over 700 students engage with STEM concepts and build a STEM culture in her school. Ekuwah is also the author of two children's books that build upon her Ghanaian heritage. Her first book My Name is an Address shares the stories of how most Ghanaian names are based on the day of a child’s birth and their gender. Ekuwah's second book Mama's Portraits focuses on her mother's award winning art to paint a biographical picture of love, family, heritage, and humanity.
