Here's a new little series I'm starting on the podcast for whenever there are times that I feel I just need to get a few things off my chest. There's a lot of nonsense in fitness and it needs to be addressed.
These are not "myths" per se, but just things I see and hear far too often that should stop, in my opinion.
In this first installment, I covered 3 main things:
1) The common promotion of "Eat pizza, drink beer and still lose weight".
2) The use of combo exercises.
3) "5 minute ab workout" and things of the sort that sound way too good to be true.
It kind of all just comes down to honesty in the industry. And I do realize these things are mostly well intentioned - but they have their faults.
