And how can you not wonder where God is during this time. Are you here, Lord?No matter how dark it feels or is, this too shall pass. God's promise is to care for you in all corners of life.
There will always be some trial, tribulation, trouble that will happen in your life. You're in, out, or headed for some trouble.
Our fallen and broken world will always get you down.
But God has overcome the world! (John 16:33)
The key is not to get through life by yourself, but to navigate life with the Lord by your side.
The K.I.S.S. ~ The hope of Christmas!Christmas is about Jesus. The Son of God sent to earth for you and me.
Luke 2:8-15 (NIV)
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
The angels met the shepherds with good news. God is here to bring you good news. You don't have to prove anything to Him. You don't have to win His heart for He freely gives it to you.
Don't let how the world sees you darken how you see yourself. Open your heart to how God sees you. Let His light shine in and through you.
Place your worries and troubles at the manger this beautiful day as we celebrate the hope of Christmas.
You have been given the reason for this season. Know you are chosen by the little babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.
God loves you so much. Today, He desires an everyday relationship with you. Who would have thought that a little babe would come to save you?
Your story is best understood with God's story.
May the hope of Christmas still be the hope of your heart!
