Dr. U.S. Awasthi is the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), having joined the organization on February 1, 1993. Under his leadership, IFFCO has seen significant growth in its fertilizer production, increasing from 24 lakh tonnes to 86.5 lakh tonnes, while its fertilizer marketing efforts have expanded to manage one crore and thirty lakh tons.
