The empowerment and energy to be the breadwinner in your own life is what lights up many female entrepreneurs. It is what drives them. Myself included. I recall, vividly, that feeling of helplessness and financial dependence I suffered when I went through my divorce. I was becoming a single mom and had no idea how I was going to provide for myself and my children.
