Nutrition with Judy | Carnivore Diet 246. In Honor of Dr. Al Danenberg – Supporting a Cancer Diagnosis: The Importance of the Oral and Gut Microbiome
I learned not too long ago that Dr. Al Danenberg, who was a Holistic Periodontist and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, passed away on August 2nd from post-COVID-19 complications from multiple myeloma.
Last year, Dr. Danenberg had privately messaged me that his cancer had come back, but that it was not stopping him from his advocacy. I shared some kind words for his new book, "Eat As If Your Life Depends On It."
I was very happy to know he was well enough to be part of the Carnivore Summit. As a tribute for his work and advocacy, we’re sharing his interview publicly on our channel. Dr. Danenberg's passion for periodontics in general — and for the LANAP protocol combined with his emphasis on evolutionary nutrition in particular — is palpable. He gave seminars regarding the cutting-edge concepts of nutrition and laser treatment to the general public and was happy to spread the word among his fellow professionals. He was a member of many dental and periodontal organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
