How often have you told yourself, “Self, I should be giving money to more needy people. Yes, I really should.” Only to follow that up with, welp, another month went by, and I didn’t give anything. Now I feel bad about myself. Look, let me let you off the hook here. The idea of giving and that your life shouldn’t be selfish is pretty universal. I think we can all agree that we feel some sort of moral obligation to give our money and time to help others. But as our guest, Adam Nash, CEO and co-founder of Daffy, a new fintech platform focused on charitable giving, said in the opening, there are two problems that we all face - how do I build giving into my budget and who do I give the money to? This Paradox has an official term - the generosity gap - which says there is this big gap between people who want to give to charity, but life gets in the way, so you end up not giving.
