Maybe you are challenged by your circumstances that rolled over from last year.
Maybe you are caught beating yourself up for what you didn't do that was purely your fault.
Maybe you lived more by sight rather than walking in faith. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
You may not know the outcome of what's to be or what's to come. But for God, there is never uncertainty.
The K.I.S.S. ~ There is never uncertainty!God doesn't give you what you fear or your fancies. Instead, He gives you the expectations of your faith. (Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary)
God serves you until the end, which is really the beginning as a believer in Jesus Christ.
Maybe you don't know what exactly the plans God has for you. Maybe you wish you knew the details of what's to come.
But let's suppose you take the higher road and let God surprise you this new year, this new season.
How cool would it be to wake up expecting the unexpected solely based on the expectation of faith alone?
God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good.
May the assumptions come from your faith, not of this world. May your hope rest in the arms of a God who created you and knows every hair on your head.
Your days may be numbered, but your greatness is still to be written.
There is never uncertainty!
God has prepared you for such a time as this.
Now you know God does not care who wins the football game, but He does care about the people who play the game.
During the Sugar Bowl yesterday (January 2022), Ole Miss's quarterback was injured and out for the remainder of the game. The back-up quarterback had not played all season, to my knowledge. So on the most important game of the season, little did he know that his entire season was in preparation for a time such as this. The quarterback (Luke Altmyer - a true freshman) continued to gain more confidence.
You may not know what is going to happen next. But take the next step God's way.
