#1 Life as an Australian College Athlete in the USA
Did you know going to college after school was actually an option? Playing the sport you love at a high level while as well obtaining a degree at the same time sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? Well that’s not the case in certain situations!
On the first episode of the LifesTeachers podcast, we got Darcy O’Connor. Darcy is has been playing college soccer in America for the last 3 years starting off at Junior College Sussex County before moving to St Benedictine which is an NAIA school in Kansas. We discuss how Darcy discovered the opportunity going to college, why he chose it over going the “traditional route”, what living in America is like, what college soccer is like, day in a life as a college athlete and struggles/benefits of living overseas as well as many other tings!
