Sometimes we pick on ourselves all day claiming that we could do better, be more worthy, and hit the goals faster.
But how fair is that to you?
Beating yourself down to build yourself up is not the answer to your everyday mishaps.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Speak in love!If you think about how we talk to children, a stranger, a best friend, do you constantly beat down upon them in order to build them up?
NO!!
Usually, you are forgiving and speak life into them. So why do you do the total opposite for yourself?
What do you think that really accomplishes?
Because if you do it, obviously you think that this tactic works.
Yet in reality, it's far from the truth.
It simply buries all hope and tears apart the possibilities that are waiting in the balance.
You are made for more. So why not speak in love to yourself?
These last few weeks have been a little chaotic; fighting viruses, a home under construction, computers blowing up on you, medical emergencies, water everywhere except where it should be. You name it, it found us.
But that doesn't mean that I have to stand by and speak to myself in ways that are uncalled for and honestly rude and disrespectful.
CHALLENGE: When life hands you lemons, find the lemonade words to sweeten your day in every way.
Don't tell yourself lies. Own what it is and move forward. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. And with summer around the corner, you're gonna be sweatin' enough.
Silence the lies and speak in love!
