Adam Lowy grew up assisting his dad and uncle with their New Jersey-based moving company, and always felt bothered and unsettled by the amount of food left behind during the moving process. In 2009, he seized the opportunity to make a difference and began asking customers if they had any food that they’d like to donate to the local foodbank. In a few short years Adam expanded this charitable giving into an organization called Move for Hunger. In this episode, Adam shares his combined passion for the relocation industry and reducing waste, as well as some insight into how property managers can engage with their residents in a meaningful way that goes Beyond Rent.
