Shante Lane Tomeret's Journey into Education

Shante Lane Tomeret's entry into education is deeply rooted in her upbringing, where her mother operated an in-home daycare, creating a nurturing environment for children. Initially pursuing a career in psychology, Shante was guided toward education by her experiences working with children and as an ABA therapist. Over time, her experiences in both conventional and specialized educational settings highlighted the need for inclusivity in the classroom. This realization became a driving force behind the creation of Discovery Lane, where the vision was to foster an environment that accommodates all children, reflecting a spectrum of developmental needs.
