How to Find Rental Comps In Your Real Estate Market
When finding rental comps in your market, you need to consider the following:
- Proximity
- Similar Size/Amenities
- Similar Vintage
- Similar Unit Size
- Similar Renovations
Be careful of only using Rent/Sq Ft as a key performance indicator, because you need to consider the size of the units in your market.
Also be aware that Townhouses charge a premium over garden units.
