Shifting Mindset to Achieve Higher Goals
Reflecting on advice from Dan Martell, the speaker emphasizes the importance of envisioning oneself as the 10.0 version, leading to setting vastly different and ambitious business goals. This mindset shift prompted a goal to build a hundred million dollar investment fund in e-commerce. To achieve this, restructuring deals and preparing the community for scalability were identified as key steps.
Revamping Investment Criteria for Scalability
In order to facilitate partnerships and collaborations for exponential growth, a revised approach to investing in businesses was crucial. The new investment criteria necessitates brands to have at least one million dollars in revenue with $250,000 in profit, showcasing profitability. Additionally, the importance of having a significant audience and unique, customer-loved products was emphasized to foster scalable and valuable brands.
Balancing Risk and Upside in Partnerships
To ensure mutually beneficial partnerships with minimal risk, a unique deal structure was employed. By taking a 10% advisory stake in businesses and monetizing a portion to fund operations, a sustainable model was created. This approach allows for operational support, mitigating downsides, and long-term potential gains through options to buy back into the company, aligning incentives for collaborative success.
