You have today to change the world that you touch. You get the awesome opportunity to listen to other people's stories and allow their lives to radiate greatness.
It's in your every day where you get to rise to the occasion.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Rise to the occasion! "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." ~ Isaiah 40:31As much as you think the world is done with you, God is just beginning. There are new mercies every day. So why let what you can't control defeat what you can.
Rise to the occasion.
"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." ~ Romans 5:5You are not doing life by yourself. Yes, you might feel that way. I get it! But if you stop long enough, that's coming from a selfish position.
If God was willing to give up His Son that you may have eternal life, don't you think it's worth the good fight and rise to the occasion?
Then, instead of complaining and holding on to the feelings that overwhelm your presence, stand at the door and knock. (Revelations 3:20) As you listen for God's voice, you will gain direction in His presence.
Rise to the occasion.
Challenge: Ask beyond your feelings. Seek beyond your priorities. Knock for heavenly opportunities are near.
