41. Healing From The HUSTLE (What it looks like to break up with fear-based motivation!)

In today's culture, it's "normal" to be ruled by fear. Fear of no money, fear of job loss, fear of people not liking you, fear of things "not working out." All of this fear leads to a build-up of adrenaline in the body to ideally prepare you to fight a perceived threat. But these days, the perceived threats come from our mind rather than the physical world. We are fighting OURSELVES day in and day out and that constant adrenaline pump, although seemingly helpful to hurriedly help us complete our to-do list, has a very expensive cost - BURNOUT.

We are not meant to operate on fear for days, weeks, sometimes years at a time. And so breaking up with the hustle, like any breakup, is not easy. We wanted to normalize that when you choose rest over hustle, or trust over fear, your body won't agree with you right away. Resting will feel like a THREAT to the pattern you've been reinforcing for so long. We hope that this episode encourages you to stay the course as you thaw from years of fearful conditioning and exit the matrix of self-punishment.
