I’m Afraid My Ex Will Think I’ve Moved On If I Do No Contact

One of the biggest fears of people doing no contact is that their ex will think they've moved on if they don't hear from them. So they stay in touch with texts, calls and even meeting up in person, in order to reassure their ex they're still available.

They also want to make sure their ex doesn't move on with someone else. They think that staying in their ex's life will stop them from moving on with someone else.

Unfortunately, as with many things in dating, the right way to handle this is counter-intuitive. Staying in touch with your ex only gives them the confidence to look for someone else, knowing that if they fail, they can always fall back on you.
