3718 Watch What You Say
Imagine calling yourself every day and telling yourself what to do. What do you sound like? Would you be empowered about what you need to do for the day? Or would you talk down to yourself, claiming all of the things that have gone wrong lately?

Life is not about the failures, but how you take the lessons learned and apply them to your daily life.
Yes, you get to choose how you show up. You get to determine how "healthy" you want to be. You can lean toward being a very health-conscious enthusiast. Or you go a little slower and figure it out along the way.
Healthy living is a daily commitment. Your thoughts connect to your actions, which tell your body what healthy looks like. For some, it's sitting on the couch, not doing much but enjoying a few chips and dip. Then you have those who want better than where they are.
What do you do to stay inspired? What thoughts are leading your actions because of what you speak?
You gotta watch what you say, or it won't be a very good day!
The K.I.S.S. ~ Watch what you say!You can't change what you don't recognize! So if you know you are endangering yourself with your words, you have to figure out what is not working to you can change and make your words work for you.
1. Identify Your Trigger Words: Begin by recognizing and acknowledging the words or phrases in your self-talk that do not serve your goals or well-being. These trigger words may include self-critical statements, limiting beliefs, or negative affirmations that undermine your confidence and motivation. By identifying these trigger words, you can become more aware of the impact they have on your thoughts and actions. Once you are aware of the specific words that hold you back, you can work towards reframing or eliminating them from your inner dialogue.
2. Rewrite Your Self-Talk: Once you have identified your trigger words, the next step is to rewrite your self-talk to align with your goals and values.
Replace negative or unhelpful phrases with positive, empowering, and affirming statements that support your growth and well-being.
For example, if you catch yourself saying, "I always fail at this," reframe it as, "I am capable of learning from my experiences and improving over time."
By consciously choosing your words and crafting a more constructive inner dialogue, you can shift your mindset towards one that fosters self-confidence, resilience, and positive action.
3. Reflect on What You Say and Repeat: Regular reflection on your self-talk is essential for maintaining awareness and consistency in reshaping your inner dialogue. Take time to review your thoughts and words throughout the day, noting any instances where negative or counterproductive language arises.
Reflect on how these statements impact your emotions, decisions, and behaviors. Celebrate moments when you successfully replace trigger words with positive affirmations and new phrases, and recognize areas where improvement is needed.
Consistent reflection and correction of your self-talk, followed by repetition of positive affirmations and empowering language, will help reinforce a healthier and more supportive inner dialogue over time.
By actively identifying trigger words, rewriting your self-talk, and engaging in ongoing reflection and practice, you can effectively change what you say to yourself and create a more positive and empowering inner dialogue.
By nurturing a mindset that aligns with your goals and values, you can boost your motivation, resilience, and overall well-being on the path to personal growth and success.
