Richard Rosser: Helping (ex)Consultants and Finance Professionals Build Careers They Love

Rich Rosser is an ex-McKinsey consultant turned start-up co-founder of Movemeon with Nick Patterson. Their vision is to get all the best jobs for strategy, management consultants and freelance consultants in one place, with none of the frustrations of agencies or job boards. Rich holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. He is a dad of three and spends Fridays looking after his kids.

We talk with Rich about his own career journey, the lessons he learned from McKinsey and how he transitioned to start-up founder, his advice for early career professionals who are looking to start their careers, the importance of defining a career Plan A and vision, his experience with social media platforms, the ideal transition out of consulting or financial services and the do’s and don’ts to consider, what he would like to change about the world of work, and his most exciting projects for rest of the year.
