Wendi Safstrom on the Role of the SHRM Foundation

In her role as Executive Director of the SHRM Foundation, Wendi Safstrom leads the strategy and programmatic implementations that support the Foundation’s mission and vision. In this episode of SHRM’s All Things Work podcast, Wendi joins host Tony Lee to discuss the Foundation’s goal of elevating the HR profession as a method to drive social change by its promoting employment opportunities for workers in untapped talent pools, such as veterans, those with criminal records and individuals with disabilities. She also details the Foundation’s efforts to foster the next generation of HR by providing resources to students and recent grads.
