An OffRamp for RightWing Faith Voters: Doug Pagitt, Vote Common Good
Doug Pagitt says it’s important to helping faith voters to detach from a republican voting identity if they wish to. Pagitt, a former Evangelical Pastor from the emergent church movement, feels his organization, Vote Common Good, was able to help shift 5 to 10 percent of Evangelicals away from Republicans. Can they do it again or more in 2024 from supporting a party that Doug says is about “policies of division, racism, selfishness, cruelty, and exclusion”? Join the discussion on this week’s episode.
