Dr. Yoni Rosenblatt: Scaling True Sports to 19 Clinics, Hiring for Coachability & Accountable Leadership

Welcome to the True Sports Physical Therapy Podcast. This episode flips the format: Dr. Yoni Rosenblatt takes the guest seat, fielding questions from Jared Aaron of Coherent Healthcare, whose “Business of a Clinic” podcast covers the operational side of running healthcare practices.

The conversation walks through the full scaling story: growing True Sports from a single rented room to 19 clinics and 80 physical therapists, with two more locations on the way, building career ladders for sports PTs, hiring for growth mindset and coachability over credentials, and bringing in COO Dr. Tim Stone to introduce the concept of scale.

Yoni tells the origin story in full, from a $400-a-month room in the back of a repurposed church to the lacrosse families who drove into Baltimore City during a difficult stretch to keep seeing him. He also draws the distinction True Sports now builds its leadership programming around: responsibility means checking boxes, accountability means seeing tasks through to completion.

If you own a clinic, are thinking about opening one, or want to see how the business side of sports physical therapy actually runs, this episode is for you. Tune in.
