So, it’s with a heavy heart that I share the news, we lost a good friend in our community. We affectionately called him “Big Chris”. He was not only big in stature, but he had a bigger than life personality. He had a wicked sense of humor and a heart of gold. If he got up to speak at a meeting, you knew it was going to be good because he was both hilarious and profoundly wise.

He was guest #24 on the podcast, and I had to go back and hear his voice again. It was so bittersweet to listen to him tell his story, but I’m forever grateful I had the chance to record that conversation. Today my guest is Elizabeth Kupferman, who happens to be a grief counselor, and she’s the brilliant creator behind the popular IG account, @advancedbitches (she’s one of us, y’all). 

Considering how we just lost a friend, I thought it was perfect timing to speak with Elizabeth and discuss her book, “The Irreverent Grief Guide: How to F*cking Survive Months 1-3”.
