Stephanie Rice ‘You have to look fear in the eye’
Olympic swimming champion Stephanie Rice won three gold medals at the Beijing Games all in world record breaking time. This earned her the honour of receiving the Order of Australia Medal (OAM). But coming to terms with life after swimming hasn't been easy for Steph.
In this deep and honest conversation Jess and Steph explore what it was like being the best in the world at 20 years old, and how she used visualisation to create a champion mindset. Steph also reveals the emptiness and loneliness she felt when rediscovering herself outside of the pool, questioning if she’d already hit her peak in life. But Steph isn't afraid to do the work, and wants you know that you too can find empowerment by looking fear straight in the eye.
