Students are expected to walk in silence between classes and adhere to minute-by-minute schedules and directed conversations. The school does not have a prayer room, as the headteacher believes it would lead to chaos and is against the principles of sacrifice and social harmony. However, certain incidents involving students praying in the playground led to petitions, online controversy, and even threats. As a result, prayer in the yard was banned. A student later brought a case to the High Court, arguing for the right to pray on site and the creation of a prayer room.
