In this episode, I have a forthright and highly thoughtful conversation with Chronic Pain Coach, Dan Buglio, who specializes in TMS (Tension Myositis Syndrome) and Mindbody resolution.
This conversation is a MUST LISTEN if you or someone you know is suffering from chronic pain or other chronic symptoms DESPITE your/their diagnosis, imaging results, surgery reports, etc.
Dan has been sharing content on how to break free from chronic pain through his Pain Free You channels for over four years now, and has helped thousands resolve chronic issues that were thought of as impossible to change. His work is largely based off of TMS (pioneered by Dr. John Sarno), but has also branched off to further educate people on what he calls "perceived danger pain."
While pain is not "our fault," we can unintentionally find ourselves in a cycle of chronic pain due to the information our brain is continually receiving (this also includes a large range of other symptoms such as IBS, fibromyalgia, tinnitus, vertigo, anxiety, migraine headaches, skin issues, food sensitivities, etc.). Dan's goal is to teach others how to teach their brain that they are not in danger, therefore creating safety so the brain can then operate off of good information versus misinformation and bad data.
The majority of us have been programmed to think that we have to live with chronic pain/symptoms due to injury, surgery, degeneration and age, a medical diagnosis, unknown reasons, and even repressed emotional turbulence/trauma. Many of us have also medicalized our situations, believing that there is no out because we feel we have a "real problem" that cannot be solved or fixed. However, countless willing people who've led with an open mind have changed their situations due to Dan's guidance, teachings, and daily videos.
