#17- Peer Support and Getting Help (with Jamie Carlisle)
This week, we are joined by Jamie Carlisle from the Canadian Mental Health Association, MOBYSS team. Jamie is a Peer Support Specialist who works with youth aged 12 to 25. He shares information about an incredible free resource, Mobile Outreach Bus York South Simcoe, that is currently offering virtual drop-in clinics every Thursday from 3 pm - 5 pm. No referrals, health cards, or appointments necessary! Jamie shares lots of great tips and suggestions about coping with personal mental health, getting the help that you need, and signs to look out for in yourself and others. Even if you don't live in York Region or South Simcoe, or fall in this age range, there is lots of beneficial information that you can take away from this episode.
