#82: Lockdown 2 How to Manage Your Energy
As a national lockdown was announced over the weekend, this episode takes a look at the value of how we can use what we learnt in the first lockdown and apply those lessons again. An after-action review can be helpful to understand how we managed our communications, managed the transition from office to home working, managed demand and capacity and how we executed on business continuity plans.
Today I’m sharing why it’s important to glance back over crucial lessons learnt. I talk about the importance of managing your energy because, as leaders, we need to be able to look after ourselves in order to look after others. I share insight from past podcast guests and how they adapted during the first lockdown. And I talk about how we don’t need to have super powers and that sometimes just turning up and doing the job you are amazing at is enough.
