Jonathan Pageau is a professional artist, public speaker and writer. He carves Eastern Orthodox icons and designs other traditional images and products. He is also a teacher, with an online course on icon carving and he has written extensively on religious symbolism. His YouTube channel has 160k subscribers and an accompanying podcast called 'The Symbolic World' explores how ancient symbolic patterns underlie our experiences of the world and can re-enchant contemporary life.
