Mariners Back to the Playoffs! | Daily Puck Drop

On today’ Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by the Go-2-Guy Jim Moore and his MLB Insider Ryan Divish, Seattle Times right at the start of the show to chat about the Mariners clinching a playoff spot.  They spend the whole first hour discussing the Mariners chances in the playoffs, who scares you in the AL, Cal Raleigh MVP chances, and the importance of Josh Naylor both on and off the field. 

Puck then welcomes “Inside the Bloody Trenches” with Rob Staton from SeahawksDraftBlog.comto recap their dominant win over the Saints, the play of Sam Darnold, why finding a franchise quarterback is so hard, and Puck’s love affair with Grey Zabel and Leonard Williams. 

The Ryder Cup starts this week, so Puck and Jim talked to PGA golfer Joel Dahmen to get a preview of what’s in store for the U.S. against Europe, however, Joel spends a lot of time chatting about his love for Seattle sports, specifically his intense fandom for the Mariners.  Also, Joel is looking for a new caddie, would he ever contemplate having Jim on his bag?

The “Old Crimson” podcast returns with Jim and former All-American safety Paul Sorensen as they wrap up the Apple Cup, Jedd Fisch pouring it on late, the Zevi QB decision, Jimmy Rogers comments on lack of resources and a preview of Colorado State.
