Iran and the United States lurched closer towards an undeclared war this week when Teheran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched missiles at US-Iraqi bases in Iraq, in retaliation for the killing of IRGC Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani by the United States last week. While there remains room for de-escalation, tension between the two countries remains on a knife edge.
