Linda Cai is the Vice President of Talent Development at LinkedIn. While now a talent development leader, Linda started her career working at the intersection of technology and change management, and has used this background to design and lead holistic talent development strategies inside of LinkedIn.
During our conversation, we reviewed some of the most recent findings of the 2023 Linkedin Global Talent Trends report and got Linda’s perspective on topics like reskilling, internal mobility, and career development.
Linda also spoke about how the talent development team at Linkedin has used a strategic and integrated approach across their organization to talent development initiatives around internal mobility, job shadowing and reskilling programs, and manager development. Finally, Linda also spoke about their intentional efforts to focus on embedding career mobility and a "next play" mantra into the cultural fabric of the organization to help LinkedIn employees grow and thrive in today's changing world of work.
