EP 09: Scaling a House Flipping Business with Dominique Gunderson PART 1
Rehabbing and making ugly houses pretty has been idolized thanks to shows like HGTV these days but most struggle with it. Lord knows that's not Courtney's (our host) best strength. In this episode, Courtney deep dives the art of scaling a house flipping with someone who not only renovates properties but does so AT A DISTANCE VIRTUALLY!
Some additional topics that they cover include:
-knowing when to flip or wholesale
-how to manage a team from a distance
-picking a market when your backyard has a high cost of living
-finding deals to stay as busy as she does
-knowing when to come in town to check on things
-among other important conversation pieces
Dominique has been investing in real estate since she graduated high school at 17. She is now 25 and has built a successful real estate investment company, with a focus on long distance fix and flip deals. Dominique typically runs 10+ flips at a time in New Orleans, where all her investments are, while living full time in Colorado. Between wholesaling, flipping, and buy and hold investments, she has over 80 deals under her belt and is an expert at both acquisitions and renovations. She has mastered the art of managing a team remotely, running accurate numbers on deals from 1,200 miles away, and creating a flipping business that "runs itself" while she gets to travel and live life to the fullest!
