1. Show Up Fully in the Moment, Not Just on the ClockIt's easy to survive day to day without really showing up. Checking off boxes, putting out fires, keeping schedules—but emotionally checked out, mentally elsewhere. But your kids don't just need your presence; they need your engagement.
Put down your phone. Stop thinking about the next thing on your to-do list. When your child talks, really listen. When they play, play with them. When they struggle, sit with the discomfort instead of looking for quick fixes. Showing up fully stretches your patience and attention, but it keeps you connected so you don't feel like a spectator as your children grow.
2. Lean into Change Instead of Resisting ItEvery phase with your child demands something new from you—and sometimes that's wildly uncomfortable.
