Daily Puck Drop, Thu. Jan. 30 - The Rays outspend the Mariners and why Kubiak was the Seahawks pick

Thursday’s Daily Puck Drop with Jason “Puck” Puckett features his weekly guests:   Mike Garafolo, NFL Network, rising on Klint Kubiak and Senior bowl buzz and Michael-Shawn Dugar, The Athletic on pros and cons of Kubiak and the running game lives!   Puck finishes the show with thoughts on Cam Newton in “Hey, What the Puck!” 

Puck opens the show with thoughts on the American Airlines tragedy and then address Mariners free agency and the fact that the Tampa Bay Rays have outspent Seattle. Puck also makes a bet with his listeners on whether or not the Mariners will spend the remaining $11 million of their $15 million they had to spend this offseason. 

(26:00) - Mike Garafolo, NFL Network joins from the airport on his way back from the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.  They discuss the hiring of Klint Kubiak, Hank Fraley’s interest, future of Kirk Cousins, Geno Smith Seattle future, Sam Darnold generating buzz, uncomfortable football coach introductory press conferences, people violating personal spaces.
