• Is better video podcasting coming to independent podcast apps? In a post on LinkedIn, The Podcast Standards Project says that it’s been discussing a better solution for supporting video using open RSS. The solution overcomes many of the issues highlighted by our Editor in a personal blog post last year; it might even allow dynamically-inserted video advertising, too, and it can also provide better consumption data, while being significantly cheaper to serve than existing examples.
